Early Intervention Programmes
Changing behaviour before it becomes a barrier.
Our early intervention programmes are designed for KS2 and KS3 learners who are beginning to show signs of disengagement, low confidence, or behavioural challenges. Through structured rugby-based coaching, we help students build the mindset and habits they need to thrive—before patterns become entrenched.

How We Support Rugby Clubs
1. Player Recruitment & Retention
We introduce rugby to hundreds of students across Leeds and Bradford—many of whom have never picked up a ball before. Through school sessions and after-school clubs, we:
- Identify promising players and signpost them to local clubs
- Provide flyers, taster sessions, and direct referrals
- Help clubs grow their junior sections and reach new communities
2. Inclusive Pathways
We specialise in engaging SEMH, SEND, and female participants—groups often underrepresented in grassroots rugby. Clubs benefit from:
- A more diverse, inclusive player base
- Support in adapting sessions for additional needs
- Stronger links with schools and families
3. Leadership Development
Our mentoring modules prepare young people to lead warm-ups, officiate, and support younger players. Clubs gain:
- Confident junior leaders and volunteers
- Future coaches and referees
- A culture of responsibility and respect
4. Partnership Opportunities
We’re open to:
- Joint delivery (e.g. club-based sessions or festivals)
- Shared facilities or kit
- Co-branded community events
- Joint funding bids to grow the game together
